Kaylie: 2 months old

Kaylie turned 2 months old yesterday... in just a blink of an eye. At her 2 month checkup, she weighed in at 11 pounds 1 ounce and grew 3/4 of an inch. I can definitely feel her getting bigger.

Collin is busy growing as well...he only wants to sit on the big boy swing.

7 weeks old.

already.

birthmark

Kaylie has a little birthmark on her bottom lip. Her doctor says it's a hemangioma. Harmless and it should go away in a year or two. He did say it might get a little bigger before it goes away. So no..she did not bite her lip. =)

Philly Sept 2010

We just got back from visiting Jane in philly. It was a good trip. Kaylie and I went and daddy and Collin stayed home in Dallas. This was the first time I've ever been away from my boys.

Kaylie on the plane. We were so lucky to get a row to ourselves going and coming back. I guess that's the advantage of taking the earliest flight. Kaylie did awesome on the plane both times. She slept the entire way.

Oh hi Aunt Jane.

We took the train a couple of times to Philly to visit Jane. I never ever took a train in philly until now.

This is what Kaylie did everyday in the hospital.

rain + sun = rainbow

It rained here yesterday. The weather is so erratic here. One minute it's dark and gloomy and then the next minute, it's bright out again. When it got bright again, Caohien took Collin outside to see the rain and noticed a double rainbow that spanned the entire sky. You could see the whole thing from the back to the front of our house. It was really pretty. Today, Collin looked up at the sky and said..."no more rainbow".

Collin loves umbrellas. So he took a little stroll in the rain by himself with the umbrella.
