Texas State Fair 2008

It's that time again....to go to the fair and indulge in all the deliciousness of fried foods.... so bad yet so yummy. well most of it was. this year on the list... country fried bacon. not so good.

another thing we tried was the fried waffle balls. a chocolate covered strawberry dipped in waffle batter then deep fried to perfection, topped with lots of powdered sugar. good!

and of course the usual... turkey legs, sausage on a stick, fried oreos, fried cheescake, roasted corn, and some other stuff i can't remember because of the food coma i got from eating so much.

then off to see the animals. collin checks out the baby goat. just his size.then the ostrich. he was a bit nicer this year.collin wanted to check out the cars so he could find his perfect ride. i think he liked this one...okay...enough with the fair. we'll be back next year!
