California

We took a trip to California this past weekend... a bit of an expected vacation. We made the best of it though. Here are some things we got to do despite all the other things going on.

Cali has some of the biggest trees. check out how big this branch/stump was.
Since we were there for a funeral, it became a family reunion with family coming in from all over the world. anyhow.. at least we got to see collin's favorite uncle, Aaron.
the biggest shaved ice thing ever. there were 7 of us..and we barely finished half of this.
We took Collin to Venice Beach. He got to stick his fat feet in the sand and play... but that was the extent of it. We didn't have that much time there and it was kinda chilly. But definitely nice to see the beach. Collin loved looking at all the seagulls.and finally... on Sunday night...Collin experienced his first EARTHQUAKE!!! He was asleep though. Everything was fine but pretty crazy to feel the entire house and ground shaking.
