Plano Balloon Festival

On Saturday, we went to the Plano Balloon festival. It was a bit a hot and extremely crowded...but we had a great time.

check out the crowd... and this was only part of it.the hot air balloons were nice. maybe someday we'll get to ride one. they do sell rides for $250 per person, but Collin isn't old enough to ride yet. you have to be at least 10 years old.

so at 6pm, all the balloons launch. they inflate pretty quickly then up they go. here's the babies, daddies, and balloons.and then they're gone.hmm...they look so amused.

mommy and collin.then the balloons eventually return when it gets dark and they light them up periodically so you can see them glow.so what is a festival without food. here is the cowboy burrito that caohien had to wait in line for. he waited over 30 minutes for this. it was good... but not sure i'd wait that long again for beef and potatoes wrapped in a tortilla.caught on camera. are asians the only ones that do this in public?
